Winter literacy tutor training starts Jan. 22

The Literacy Volunteers of Kent County is looking for people who want to make a difference in someone’s life by giving the gift of literacy.

By giving just a few hours per week, you can help develop a stronger community while helping your neighbors improve their skills. Literacy Volunteers of Kent County has adult students excited to learn English as a second language or basic literacy who are awaiting a tutor.

The next tutor training session begins on Tuesday, Jan. 22. Those over 18 and a Kent County resident should call 822-9103 or email for more information.
