WJHA nets one title, two runner-up finishes

The youth hockey Mite state championships were held earlier this week, and the Warwick Junior Hockey Association made plenty of waves. WJHA had two Mite B teams in divison championships on Monday night, with one squad posting a 4-3 victory over Pawtucket in the Gold Championship. The other Mite B team settled for second after a loss to SRI by a 4-2 score.

On Tuesday night, Mite A teams took to the ice, and WJHA grabbed another second-place as Woonsocket edged the team by a 3-0 score in the Gold Championship.
