What: The YMCA of Greater Providence, in partnership with the Rhode Island Interscholastic League (RIIL), will host a presentation of the Taylor Hooton Foundation’s ALL ME® program on April 16th.
Open to YMCA members and the community, the event is designed to educate youth and adults about the realities of dietary supplements and the importance of nutrition for sustainable health. Speakers will communicate the ways in which nutrition is a solution for fueling the body properly and creating a food-first culture for healthy lifestyles.
The program is part of the RILL’s “Operation Clean Competition,” an outreach effort funded by a Rhode Island Foundation grant that is designed to educate Rhode Islanders about the dangers of Appearance & Performance Enhancing Substances, HGH, dietary supplements, and energy drinks.
There is no charge to attend. Students, parents, educators, coaches, and other influential adults are encouraged to participate.
