Agnes (Damarjian) Boghosian, 90, formerly of Howie Ave., Warwick, passed away February 2, 2010 at North Bay Manor in Smithfield. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Boghosian. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna (Tashjian) Damarjian. Agnes was an active member at Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church and its Women's Guild and was past matron of the Providence Chapter of the Daughters of Vartan and a member since 1951. She was the devoted mother of Richard Boghosian and his wife, Barbara, of Cranston and Lee Boghosian and his wife, Christine, of Newington, Conn.; loving grandmother of Aram, Jason and Alison Boghosian and Max O'Connell; and dear sister of the late Dr. Edward Damarjian, Herbert Damarjian and her twin, Alice Damarjian, R.N. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service Feb. 6 at 10 a.m. in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence, and may call at the Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, Feb. 5 from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery in Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, 70 Jefferson St., Providence, RI 02908 or Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
