Two phrases that you will never, ever hear from the annual Kids' Count reliance on government. First, "out of wedlock births" are a near-automatic ticket to poverty. Second, "educational choice" allows parents to select the public, private, or parochial school that best meets their child's needs. Instead, we are treated to the annual dependence on government, which guarantees a perpetuation of multi-generational dependence, which leads to more child poverty, which leads to full employment opportunities for those conducting studies for Kids' Count.
