As a private sector employee i pay 5000.00 dollars a year just for my part of my health insurance and its sure to keep going up.on top of that are co payments for doctor visits and prescriptions.my taxes increased 400 dollars a year while other properties saw no increases.that being said i can see the point of the unions because the ordinance is changing something that was expected to be there.no one seems to understand the gravity of the cities financial issues.so taxpayers dont want to pay more and unions dont want to pay more.so both sides are wrong in my opinion.at the end of the day we all pay it just comes down to who pays what.there needs to be fairness in the tax system and fiscal responsibility on the spending side because the well will rin dry at some point.
