The Warwick School Community was saddened to learn about the passing of Alan Shawn Feinstein. He was a beloved member of our community whose legacy of generosity and compassion will live on for generations.
Mr. Feinstein was more than just a supporter; he was an inspiration whose selfless contributions touched countless lives and provided a brighter future for our students. By generously donating to schools throughout the Warwick community, Mr. Feinstein helped to create opportunities for students to thrive academically and personally. His visits to Warwick Schools inspired students to be their best as a student and person.
The Feinstein Junior Scholar Program provided students with the opportunity to visit educational organizations in the community for free. This was Mr. Feinstein’s way of rewarding students for doing good deeds and participating in community service. Mr. Feinstein’s generous donation to schools enabled additional programs and learning opportunities to be enjoyed by all every year. He was a champion for education and a believer in the potential of every young person.
The impact of Mr. Feinstein’s generosity will be felt for many years to come, as the programs and initiatives he supported continue to be a vital part of Warwick Schools. As a testament to this, Mr. Feinstein’s name can be found on many Warwick School Buildings. His dedication to ensuring that all students, regardless of background or circumstance, have access to quality education has transformed countless futures.
As we mourn the loss of Mr. Feinstein, we also celebrate the remarkable legacy he leaves behind. His spirit will live on in the achievements of the students whose lives he touched and in the heart of this community, which is forever enriched by his kindness and dedication. Our thoughts are with Mr. Feinstein’s family and loved ones during this difficult time. As a community, we are profoundly grateful for the difference Mr. Feinstein has made in shaping the lives of so many young people in Warwick.
In remembering his generosity, we commit to continuing the work ensuring that future generations of students receive the same opportunities to grow, learn, and succeed.
