Albert E. Morin, age 94, of Warwick, died on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. He was the loving husband of the late Aline A. (Gareau) Morin.

Born in Cranston, a son of the late George H. and Marie B. (Lamoureux) Morin, he lived in Warwick since 1955. He was a graduate of Cranston High School and the University of Rhode Island. A World War II veteran, he enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1945, and after training was sent to the European Theater. Mr. Morin was the owner of Flow Concepts, Inc. in Cranston for 30 years, retiring in 2003. An avid big game fisherman, he fished in the U.S. Atlantic Tuna Tournament and the Block Island Bluefish Tournament for many years. He caught giant blue fin tuna, swordfish, and marlin on rod and reel. He fished for striped-bass on Narragansett Bay, and won numerous tournaments. A member of the Warwick Country Club, he won the Senior Club Championship eight times. In 1989, at the age of 62, he won both the Regular and Senior Club Championships, a feat never before, or since, accomplished at Warwick Country Club. He continued to fish on his own boat and play golf until shortly before his death.

He is survived by a daughter, Michelle A. Morin-deSantis of Warwick; two sisters, Alice Duffy of Philadelphia, PA and Sylvia Falcon of Napa, CA; nieces and nephews, and a friend, Dorothy Griffin of Warwick. He was the brother of the late George, Henry, Raymond, Edward, and Richard Morin.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a future date. Interment with military honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
