Carol Ann (McCormick) Allsworth, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and esteemed professional, passed away on September 26, 2024, surrounded by her children. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, and a long-time resident of Warwick, RI. Carol was the cherished daughter of Charles and Mary (Ward) McCormick and stepdaughter of James Truesdale.

Carol had many jobs during her life but found her niche in real estate appraisal in the 1980s after working for the City of Warwick Assessor's Office. She then dedicated herself to the field of residential and commercial property as an appraiser and a licensed real estate broker. She made significant contributions to the community through her business, Allsworth Appraisal Company. Her dedication and expertise earned her respect and admiration from colleagues and clients alike. She was a member of the Appraisal Institute and the Rhode Island Board of Realtors.

She was a devoted mother to her three children, Jane Allsworth of Warwick, RI, Jenifer Allsworth (Tanya Harned) of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and Henry Allsworth (Elizabeth) of Missoula, Montana; instilling in them values of kindness, hard work, and integrity. Carol (Nana) found immense joy in being a grandmother, doting on her grandchildren: Ariella McCormick, and Hayden, Clara, and Kian Allsworth. Her love and quirky sense of humor will forever be cherished in their hearts.

Carol's life was enriched by her large and loving family. She is survived by sisters Rosemarie Palliotto and Frances DeMello, both of Falmouth, Massachusetts, and sister-in-law Mariette Burroughs of Warwick, RI. She was the sister of the late Katherine Carpenter, Margaret Lyons, William McCormick, Charles McCormick, and Thomas McCormick and sister-in-law of the late Frank Carpenter, Nona McCormick, Al Palliotto, Clement DeMello, and Barbara McCormick, each of whom she held dear. She was godmother to the late Shawna (DeMello) Dennery and aunt to multiple nieces and nephews.

Carol's legacy is one of love, dedication, and strength. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends and in the many lives she touched throughout her lifetime.
