Antranik Dickran Tashian “Anto”, age 72, of Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.
He was a graduate of the University of Algiers, receiving his bachelor's degree in Journalism. Anto’s talents and interests were many. He was an amateur chef, who liked to create unique dishes through trial and error. He also made grocery shopping a hobby, always looking for the best deals across the state. He enjoyed working outside in his yard with his sons and taking spontaneous road trips with his wife. He had a love of hosting and attending parties, he really enjoyed spending time with people. He is best known for his lighthearted demeanor, always joking and kidding around, trying to get a laugh out of someone. He was very proud of his Armenian Heritage and enjoyed educating others on the Armenian Culture.
Preceded in death by his parents Dikran and Naima Tashjian, and two brothers Karabet Tashian and Mardiros Tashjian and sister Janet Simonian. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Kathryn (Dorr) Tashian; two sons, Antranik Tashian, Jr. and Daniel Tashian; daughter, Natasha Tashian; granddaughter, Mila Tyrell; three sisters Antoinette Diarbi, Siranoush Sahakian, and Maro Alajajian; brother Mihran Tashjian; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to express thanks for the amazing help and care given by Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. The services have already taken place with close family and friends.
