Avvio Ristorante, located at Garden City Center, 90 Hillside Road in Cranston, is celebrating the cuisine of Sicily with a special prix fixe menu for the month of March.
The three-course menu is available daily during dinner hours only. The cost is $42.00 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity, and is not available for take-out. For more information or to make reservations, visit www.avvioristorante.com.
The menu begins with a choice of antipasti: Crudo, with fluke, orange, pistachio, fennel, Castelvetrano olive, and extra virgin olive oil or a Stuffed Sweet Pepper with focaccia stuffing, scamorza, hot Italian sausage, and bread crumb.
Entrée choices include a whole roasted Sea Bass with citrus, herb, and chicory salad; Pollo Agrodolce: tomato-olive braised chicken thighs, white wine, cannellini beans, oregano, parsley, and cous cous; and Gnocchi alla Norma with charred eggplant, tomato, basil, garlic, and ricotta salata.
Dessert choices are Pistachio Cannoli with sweet cream and chocolate chips or Blood Orange Sorbetto with candied mint.
