Gary G. Baker, Sr., 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 31, 2024.
He was the beloved husband of Barbara A. (Schneider) Baker for 47 years. Born in Warwick, he was a son of the late Judd V. and Margaret (Miller) Baker and brother of the late George, Edward, Judd, Kenneth and Richard Baker.
Along with his wife, he leaves his loving children, Gary G. Baker, Jr., Cynthia Lyons (Jon), Beverly Baker (Dave), Donna Varrecchione (Tony), Jay Rivers (Sue), and Kevin Baker (Cathy). He also leaves several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Justine Baker (Daddy’s little girl).
Gary was an avid sports fan, especially rooting for the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. He and Barbara loved to travel across the country to visit family and friends. He also greatly enjoyed the beach and to watch the sunset. They created many happy memories of their life together.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a prayer service on Saturday, January 11th at 11:00 am in the Mt. St. Mary Cemetery Chapel, 661 Prospect Street, Pawtucket.
