To the Editor,
A community Thanksgiving dinner was hosted by Iggy’s Boardwalk and Bishop Hendricken High School. Partnering in the event were Mayor Frank Picozzi, the Warwick Beacon, Ocean State Job Lot, RIPTA and Antonio’s Bakery.
It was one of the best turkey dinners I ever had.
Many thanks to the chef and many staff and volunteers who helped serve. Who could resist Father Marciano’s infectious smile as he talked to everyone there.
This event showcased the good people in the City of Warwick where I grew up.
Thank you again for all those who made this event possible.
Diane E. Carley,
Warwick
