‘BEVY 2025’ brings a Sip & Shop experience to Rhodes

With the arrival of March, we start to see the trees begin to bud again, the grass becomes a little greener and the winter thaw nears its conclusion as the blustery winds of spring make their presence felt. With St. Patrick’s Day happening on a Monday, there are a bunch of green-themed events in the days leading up to it, and one of them is “BEVY 2025” happening at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet on March 13 at 6pm.

The Rhode Island Night Market, an organization that’s been putting on large-scale markets with a variety of vendors since 2018, is hosting BEVY 2025. Their mission is to provide a place for talented creative people from around the Ocean State and beyond to thrive and gain following.

“Local and national brands will be providing sample tastings, showcasing popular and new flavors both in spirits and non-alcoholic categories. Sip and shop with a local makers market, fun workshops and more,” according to the event’s website.

Some of those brands include local businesses like the South County breweries Chair 2 and Tower Hill Brewing, the Providence distillery The Industrious Spirit Company, the Westerly based Granny Squibb’s Organic Iced Tea and the North Providence beverage staple Yacht Club Soda. Others include Bully Boy Distillers out of Boston, Polar Beverages from Worcester, Burlington, Vermont’s Citizen Cider and the Austrian energy drink brand Red Bull among many others.

Event sponsors include the Southern New England brand development & beverage consulting company Two Bullyz and the food and drink themed social media content creator Rhody Foody just to name a few.

The first 250 people who either purchase or turn in their ticket at the door can sign up for a mixology workshop class put on by Say Yes To The Cocktail where they can learn how to make their own mixed drink.

There are both general admission and VIP tickets available, and folks are encouraged to follow both Rhode Island Night Market and Rhody Foody on Instagram at instagram.com/rinightmarket and instagram.com/rhodyfoody for a chance to win free tickets.
