Brandyn Durand was one of the top athletes to ever come out of Bishop Hendricken and could be remembered as one of the best athletes to hail from Rhode Island.
Durand had a stellar senior year for the Hawks, playing three sports and excelling at each. In 2022, Durand would help the Hawks’ baseball team reach the state championship series against North Kingstown. His season highlight came in the semifinal series where he would mash a pair of home runs to lead the Hawks to the next round. Durand finished the year as the state’s most dangerous power hitter, which garnered him First Team All-Division honors from the coaches association. He is set to hit the diamond for Division I power Kentucky next spring.
He also put on a show last winter at the RIIL Indoor Track and Field State Championships, where he took first in the 300 dash and second in the 55 dash.
Best of the rest: Eze Wali, Hendricken; Colby Barker, Pilgrim; Ryan Dacey, Toll Gate

Alex is correct. Brandyn Durand was one of the Top 3 all-around athletes in Bishop Hendricken history. And that's a very elite list. High Honors student and did something that may never have been done in RIIL history.; All-State honors in four sports in the same academic year.
