Brian J. Brennan, 57, formerly of Cumberland, passed away at the Kent County Hospital, Warwick. He was the husband of Sallie (Trudell) Brennan and they had been married for the past 26 years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John P. and Mary M. (Partington) Brennan. He resided in Warwick for over 20 years. He was a graduate of Cumberland High School, Class of 1981. Following high school, he attended and graduated from New England Tech with an Associate Degree in Technology. Mr. Brennan dedicated his life's work, often traveling the globe, as a Systems Engineer at IGT for 40 years. He loved his time working for IGT, and he met many great people who were like family. Brian was a dedicated and passionate New England sports fan, enjoyed going to concerts, and spending time with his family and many friends. Those who love him will always remember him as a happy, kind and caring person who always had big smile.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his brother, Sean P. Brennan and his wife Lynne of Cumberland; his beloved cousins, Mary Lee Partington, Scott Partington and his wife Rebecca, Gary Partington and his wife Lynne, and Kathleen Partington; as well as the entire Trudell family with whom he shared many wonderful times.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Brian's Life Celebration to be held with Visiting Hours on Thursday, June 17, 2021, from 4 to 8 p.,m. and continue on Friday, June 18, 2021, at 10 a.m. in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. in the St. Jude Church, Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. At the request of the family, facemasks are requested to be worn.
