Bruno J. Garganese

Bruno J. Garganese, age 88, of Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at Avalon Nursing Home. He was the husband of June E. (Ryan) Garganese.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Gaetano and Ersilia (Storti) Garganese, he lived in Warwick for most of his life. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Garganese was employed at Ciba-Geigy in Cranston for 24 years, and later with the Warwick School Department for 11 years. He loved to play golf.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters: Cheryl A. Crone of Warwick, Lisa A. Pak of Encinitas, CA, and Pamela A. Stahowiak of Warwick; five grandchildren, Lindsay Crone, Amanda Crone, Lauren Stahowiak, Megan Stahowiak, and Olivia Stahowiak; two great-grandchildren, Madison Adams and Camden Alvares; and two sisters, Ann Edgar of Exeter and Stella Andreozzi of Greenville. He was the brother of the late Ugo, Aldo, Dino, and Dante Garganese.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, November 19, at 11 a.m. in St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick. (Facial masks and social distancing will be required.) Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the visiting hours and burial will be private.
