Tri City Elks
On March 9 Tri City will present Roger Ceresi's Allstars "On the Right Track.” Tickets are $12 per person. For advance tickets call 737-9510.

On March 10, join them for their annual St. Patrick's dinner, music by DJ Jim Fleet from 6:30-10 p.m. Corned beef and cabbage dinner at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 per person and are available at the lounge after 3 p.m. There will be $25 gift certificate awarded with the best Irish attire.

On Monday nights they have country line dancing from 7-8:30 p.m. $5 per person.

Also on Mondays Cook Your Own Steak for $10. You get a sirloin steak that you cook yourself and a baked potato with green beans.

Welcome Spring Craft Fair
First Congregational Church, 715 Oakland Beach Ave., is having a Welcome to Spring craft fair March 31 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tables will include bakers dream, everything baskets, the book store, white elephant, garden center, beauty shop, jewelry shop, clothing store, and a children's craft table with items made by the children of the church. Shields Post St. Patrick’s Day Party
William Shields Jr. Post #43 American Legion 662 West Shore Rd. Will have a Patrick's Day Party on March 17 from 7 p.m.-12 midnight. A corned beef dinner will be served with music and dancing by a DJ. $25 per couple, $15 for a single. $100 prize for the best-dressed Irish themed person. See bartender for tickets.

Meat Raffle
Shields Post will have a weekly meat raffle every Saturday night except St. Patrick’s Day. Ticket sales start at 6:30 p.m. There will be four tables of product displayed with separate drawings for each table (colored tickets). As each winning ticket is drawn, that person will have their choice of any item available on that table. They will continue pulling tickets until the items on that table are all gone. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Open to the public, bring friends and relatives. This raffle is sponsored by the S.A.L. & the Auxiliary.

Fish & Chips will available at Shields Post 43 on all Lenten Fridays through April 6 from 4-7 p.m. $6.95. All proceeds benefit Girls State/Boys State.

Music and Dancing
The American Legion Post #15, 1016 Post Rd., East Greenwich, will have Bobby Justin playing oldies from 7-11 p.m. on March 9. Admission is $7.

Bluegrass Jam
There will be a Bluegrass Jam in Wickford March 10 from 2-5 p.m. inside Wilson's of Wickford at 35 Brown St. This is a recurring jam that runs the second Saturday of each month year-round. All ages and skill levels are welcome. The event is free and open to the public.

Talent and Variety Show
Woodbury Union Church will hold its 9th annual talent and variety show March 10 at 7 p.m. The show is presented each year in memory of Doug Thompson. Tickets are available by calling 737-8232 or at the door. The church is located at the corner of Beach Ave. and West Shore Rd. The cost is $10 per person with a $25 family cap.

Three Ring Circus Jamboree
Join the Warwick Junior Hockey Association for their end of year "Three Ring Circus Jamboree” March 10 from 6:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Thayer Arena, Warburton Ice Rink. Featured will be 3-on-3 hockey in all zones, major and minor divisions. Each team will play every team once for a total of 30 mini games. Developmental Screening
The Child Outreach Department of the Warwick Public Schools, in cooperation with the Volunteers of Warwick schools (VOWS), conducts regular preschool screening clinics. All Warwick preschool children between the ages of 3 and 5 are offered the Early Screening Inventory-Revised (ESI-R). This is a free service provided by the Warwick Public Schools. Participation in a Developmental Screening is a long established program of the Warwick School Department that provides families with information about their child's development and offers information about community resources. The Donate Shop is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit thrift store that provides free clothing to families in crisis. Domestic Violence Volunteers
The Elizabeth Buffum Chace Center (EBCC) is currently seeking volunteers for their Speakers Bureau. All volunteers will be trained to provide outreach, as a representative of EBCC, to communities in their service area through attendance at health and community fairs and by fulfilling requests for informational speaking engagements. Volunteers will receive thorough and specialized training under the supervision of the agency services coordinator before beginning this work.
