Gina M. (Giroux) Burke, 58, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at the Kent Hospital in Warwick. She was the beloved mother of Shawn P. Burke II. Born in Providence. She was a daughter of the late Arthur E. Giroux and Rosanne M. (D’Ambra) Higgins, step-daughter of Richard M. Higgins, and sister of Florence “Flori” M. L’Heureux, Roxanne M. Carter, and the late David J. Giroux, aunt of Kevin Carter, Jonathan Carter, and the late David Wilson, and the great-aunt of Aiden, Luca, and Cody Carter. Gina was employed as a binder for Old Stone Bank and then, a school bus driver for First Student before her retirement.
