Caesar A. Cinquegrana, 87, passed away peacefully with his daughter by his side on May 4, 2020. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years, Teresa A. (Caimano) Cinquegrana in 2014.

A lifelong resident of West Warwick, he was the son of the late Angelo A. and Louise L. (Senerchia) Cinquegrana. He was an inspector for RIDOT for over 25 years before retiring in 1994. In retirement, he enjoyed playing cards with lifelong friends at the American Legion, spoiling his grandchildren with love and affection, and telling everyone he knew, and those he met along the way about his rebellious teenage years, and the many cars he owned over his lifetime. Despite his son-in-law’s protestations that the Red Sox were the best team in baseball, he remained a loyal, lifelong, Yankees fan; a proud Italian American rooting for Joe DiMaggio in the early years and Joe Torre in his later years.

He was the father of Gina M. O’Connell and husband Brian of Warwick, Stephen E. Courcy and wife Joy of Westford, MA, and Robert S. Courcy and partner Linda Gadoury of West Greenwich. He was the grandfather of Christopher O’Connell, Ronan O’Connell, Daniel Courcy and Andrew Courcy; and great-grandfather of Angela Courcy; brother of Mary A. Pimentel of North Andover, MA and her late husband Manuel Pimentel Jr., bother-in-law of James (deceased) and Eleanor Caimano (deceased), and uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Due to the pandemic, his funeral service followed by interment in Notre Dame Cemetery in West Warwick, will be private. Arrangements by the Iannotti Funeral Home at Maple Root, Coventry.
