A reception was held last week at the Saw Tooth Annex building in Apponaug for young artists who participated in the 2023 Congressional Art Competition sponsored by Congressman Seth Magaziner. The winning entry by Gwen Ruffolo of North Kingstown will be on display at the Nation’s Capitol for one year. And viewing the entries it was easy to understand why judges didn’t have an easy time of making a selection.
