Carl A. Johnson, Jr., 85, died Saturday, September 25, 2021. He was the husband of the late Linda A. (Salisbury) Johnson and a son of the late Carl A. and Elizabeth (Cleverly) Johnson.
Carl was employed with Kenny Manufacturing in Warwick for 42 years retiring as a foreman in 1999. He served in the US Army and in the Army reserves during the Vietnam War. Carl was also a 32nd Degree Mason and was very active in his younger years. He loved his sports and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots Fan.
He is survived by his daughter Christine M. Walaska and her husband Bill and his son Carl J. Johnson and his wife Cindy. He also leaves his beloved grandchildren Michael George, William Walaska, III, Ethan Walaska and Genesis Johnson and his brother David Johnson. He is predeceased by his siblings Nancy Pellicano, Edward Johnson, Ronald Johnson and William Johnson.
His funeral service will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting Hours are Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.
