Carole L. Dorr, 88, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at home. She was the wife of the late George R. Dorr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Stanley W. and Elizabeth M. (Riley) Crosby.
Carole worked as a waitress for various restaurants including the Sheridan Hotel, Archie’s Tavern in Pawtucket and The Inn Restaurant in Warwick.
She was the mother of the late Robert D. Starkey, Jr. and Laurene M. Starkey; mother-in-law of Gwinlin Cox and Michele Starkey; grandmother of Ryan L., Nicole L., and Hope M. Starkey. Carole was the sister of Nancy Soens of Cranston, and the late Stanley W. Crosby, Jr., Dennis N. Crosby, Robert F. Crosby, William Crosby, David G. Crosby, Virginia C. Kallen, Sharon E. Wolfe.
Her funeral will be private at the convenience of the family.
