Cheryl J. (Pelletier) Hopkins, 75, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022. She was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Alphonse and Rose (Bonner) Pelletier. Cheryl was a caring and skilled LPN for over 40 years before retiring in 2011. She lived in Warwick for many years before moving to Ashford, CT in 2014. She was an avid lover of all animals big and small.
She was the loving mother of Kerri H. Friel and her husband Christopher of Warwick, Kristen H. Cute and her husband Matthew of Pawtucket, and the late Michelle M. Hopkins who passed away in 1981. She was the adored partner of Carlton E. Beyor of Ashford, CT, and the sister of Gail DeAlmo of Coventry. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, William Friel, Matthew Friel, Patrick Friel, Michael Cute and Willa Rose Cute. She was a true presence in everyone’s life. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 9-10am in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Pike, Greenville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Tomorrow Fund – RI Hospital Campus, 593 Eddy Street, Providence RI 02903, will be appreciated.
