If you have ever driven down Post Road in Warwick, there is a good chance that you have cruised right past one of the city’s the best kept culinary secrets ~ China Sea. China Sea is a cozy, family-owned restaurant where hungry diners will find an enticing menu of authentic Polynesian and Cantonese cuisine every day.

Owner Ed Chu has devoted nearly four decades to making this familiar destination a place where his loyal customers and newcomers alike can depend on consistently delicious and affordable food, attentive and courteous service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The cooks and wait staff at China Sea are committed to giving you a rewarding culinary experience every time you eat their food.  It is not at all uncommon to hear this kind of a review from China Sea’s loyal fans: “The owners, Eddie and Nelly, treat everyone like they’ve been invited to their own home for dinner!”  It is just that kind of place.

The menu at China Sea offers a wide array of mouth-watering options that is lengthy, varied and always palate-pleasing. If you need a little something to get you started, try some of these fan-favorites: Crunchy Crab Rangoon, Spicy “Wing dings”, Egg rolls and Spring Rolls, BBQ Spare Ribs, Crispy Fried Wontons, Chicken Dumplings and Beef Teriyaki sticks.

Enjoy one of the many entrees at China Sea, including their Hawaii Orange Chicken ~ a crispy chicken dish served in a special citrus-y fresh orange sauce.  Perfect way to escape the winter blues after a day of cold weather and gray skies.

Try one of these popular combination platters:  Beef Teriyaki with an Egg Roll; Sweet and Sour Shrimp with some glazed Boneless Ribs, Sticky Chicken wings with Egg Foo Yong or Moo Goo Gai Pan with Boneless Chicken.  Included on the long list of tempting entrees are over 60 additional combination plates, including every variation of chicken, seafood, beef, duck and pork you can imagine.

There are also Moo Shi Style offerings, dishes that are cooked with tender shredded meat, lily flowers, mushrooms, cabbage and eggs and served with four “pancakes.”  The list of fried rice, soups, lo mein, egg foo yong and chow mein choices is seemingly endless. China Sea also accommodates their health-conscious diners, offering a variety of vegetarian dishes which can be prepared without added salt or MSG.  There is something for everyone here!

This winter, let the talented, longtime cooks at China Sea help you figure out “What’s for dinner!?”

During this time of adjustment to the world of Covid, the Chu family asks for your continued patience as they diligently keep their restaurant safe and compliant with all statewide regulations.  Be assured that all precautions of sanitization, cleanliness and social distancing are being taken.
