Christine Louise Roy, 60, of Warwick, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.
She was the loving wife of Joseph R. Roy.
She touched the lives of many through her long and dedicated career in nursing, most notably at Women & Infants Hospital, Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, and Landmark Medical Center. Her greatest joy was in being a Meme to her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
She was the beloved mother to Elissa, John, Mariel and daughter-in-law Nikki, as well as Meme to Ava, Adley, Arlo, Riley and Noah. She leaves behind her brother Charlie, and sisters Frances, Leslie, Donna and Nancy.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 22, 2021 at St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick. Visitation at Church took place prior to the Mass from 10-11 a.m.
Due to COVID 19, Health and Safety Regulations were in effect. Face Masks and Social Distancing were required.
Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave, Warwick.
