Beverly J. (Erickson) Cokely, 84, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Kent Regency Center, Warwick. She was the wife of the late Charles C. Cokely. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Elof A. and Ellen I. (Wennerstrom) Erickson. Beverly was the beloved mother of Curtis C. Cokely (Laura) and Christine C. Cokely-Dawley (Christopher); loving grandmother of Jessica Dawley, Adam Dawley, Casey Cokely, Breanna Dickens, and Nick Tella; loving great-grandmother of Peyton Dawley, also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late June Fraser and her husband Robert Fraser.
Beverly enjoyed doing her puzzles, but above all cherished spending time with her loving children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter.
Her funeral service will be held Friday, February 28, 2025, at 10am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. She will be laid to rest with her husband in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Her visitation will be Thursday from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105, will be appreciated.
