DRUG POSSESSION
According to the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office, on Oct. 21, the Statewide Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Ryan Lackey, 27, of Cranston, with one count of possession of more than one kilogram of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (methamphetamine), one count of carrying a pistol without a license, one count of possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (methamphetamine), and one count of possession of a large capacity feeding device.
The alleged acts occurred in city of Warwick on or about Jan. 10, according to the AG’s Office. The Warwick Police Department conducted the investigation. Lackey is scheduled to be arraigned on Nov. 15, in Kent County Superior Court.
CHILD MOLESTATION
According to the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office, on Oct. 24, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Jhonatan Cadima Huayta, 21, of Cranston, with one count of first-degree child molestation and one count of simple assault. The alleged acts occurred in the town of Johnston on or about Jan. 25. The Johnston Police Department conducted the investigation. The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on Nov. 13, in Providence County Superior Court.
WARRANT ARREST
At 12:41 a.m., Oct. 28, Cranston Police Officers arrested Keith Scola, 32, of 291 Washington Ave., Providence, for an extraditable warrant from Attleboro Police for an Assault charge. The arrest is the result of a traffic stop On Rt. 10 North near the Niantic Avenue exit. Scola was held for morning court.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Around 12:49 a.m., Oct. 26, Cranston Police Officers arrested Nathan Buffi, 25, of 94 Cleveland Ave., No. 52 , West Warwick, for Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a call for service at The Thirsty Beaver, 288 Atwood Ave. Buffi was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, according to Cranston Police.
DOMESTIC SIMPLE ASSAULT
Around 6:30 p.m., Oct. 25, Cranston Police Officers arrested Levii Jacques Jean Dessalines, 27, of 194 Westcott Ave., Cranston, charging him with one count of Domestic Simple Assault and one count of Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was a result for a call for service for at 194 Westcott Ave. Dessalines was awaiting arraignment, according to Cranston Police.
CYBERSTALKING
Around 8:18 p.m., Oct. 25, Cranston Police Officers arrested David Delsesto, 22, of 9 Spring St., East Providence, charging him with one count of Cyberstalking and one count of Cyberharassment. The arrest was a result of an Arrest & Affidavit warrant pickup at Barrington Police Department. Delsesto was awaiting arraignment, according to Cranston Police.
SHOPLIFTING
Around 8:31 p.m., Oct. 25, Cranston Police Officers arrested Nicole Washington, 43, of 508 Elm St., No. 3R, Woonsocket, charging her with one count of Shoplifting. The arrest was a result of a call for service at Walmart, 1776 Plainfield Pike. Washington was awaiting arraignment, according to Cranston Police.
SHOPLIFTING
At 11:39 a.m., Oct. 25, Cranston Police Officers arrested Rudy Pu Vasquez, 36, of 580 Lonsdale Ave., Central Falls, for two counts of Shoplifting. The arrest was a result of a F.L.O.C.K. notification/hit for a wanted subject at the intersection of Narragansett Boulevard and Smith Street. Vasquez was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace then turned over to North Providence Police on separate charges, according to Cranston Police.
DOMESTIC VANDALISM
At 12:10 a.m., Oct. 25, Cranston Police Officers arrested Patricia Ricci, 56, of 4 Western Hills Lane, Apt. 2403, Cranston, for Domestic Vandalism/Malicious Injury to Property, Domestic Disorderly Conduct, Vandalism/Malicious Injury to Property, Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest, and Obstructing an Officer in the Execution of Duty as a result of a vandalism complaint at 100 Burton St., Apt. 11. Ricci was held for morning arraignment.
DUI
At 4:48 a.m., Oct. 25, Cranston Police Officers arrested Federico Rivas, 26, of 65 Fairfield Road, Cranston, for DUI (first offense, blood alcohol content unknown) as a result of an accident investigation at 3 Howard St. Rivas was held for morning arraignment.
DRUG POSSESSION
At 10:01 p.m., Oct. 24, Cranston Police Officers arrested Amy Bridges, 44, of 3 Salmon St., Apt. 1, Providence, for Possession of a Schedule I Substance (Crack Cocaine) as a result of a traffic stop on Reservoir Avenue. Bridges was held for morning arraignment as a Probation and Bail Violator, according to Cranston Police.
SEX OFFENDER REGISTRATION
Around 10:45 a.m., Oct. 24, Cranston Police Detectives Fish and Iacone arrested Adam Yidana, 25, of 41 Lofty Road, Cranston, for one count of Sex Offender Registration Requirement. The arrest was the result of an ongoing investigation at the above address. Yidana was awaiting arraignment as a bail, probation or parole violator, according to Cranston Police.
WARRANT ARREST
Around 1:07 a.m., Oct. 24, Cranston Police Officers arrested Aaron Muniz, 35, of 125 Elmdale Ave., Providence, on an Arrest & Affidavit warrant from Warwick Police for Domestic Simple Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a call for service at McDonald’s, 923 Cranston St. Muniz was turned over to Warwick Police.
ARSON
At 7:36 p.m., Oct. 23, Cranston Police Officers arrested Daniel Lopez, 60, of no known address, for Arson-5th Degree, as a result of an arson investigation at Dollar Tree, 1011 Cranston St. Lopez was summonsed and released, according to Cranston Police.
DOMESTIC FELONY ASSAULT
At 9:22 a.m., Oct. 22, Cranston Police Officers arrested Tyler Bagley, 32, of 485 Pontiac Ave., Apt. 1, Cranston, for Domestic Felony Assault, Domestic Vandalism and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a pickup at Pawtucket Police Department based on a previously issued arrest warrant. Bagley was transported to 3rd District Court.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
At 4 p.m., Oct. 22, Cranston Police Officers arrested Valerie Samos, 18, of 61 Cleveland Ave., Cranston, for Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a follow-up investigation from a disturbance at Cranston East High School, 899 Park Ave. Samos was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released, according to Cranston Police.
WARRANT ARREST
At 8:01 p.m., Oct. 22, Cranston Police Officers arrested John Cloutier, 47, of 22 Sylvan Ave., Cranston, for a Superior Court Full Bench Warrant and a 3rd District Court Bench Warrant. The arrest was the result of a call for service at the aforementioned address. Cloutier was transported to the ACI, according to Cranston Police.
DOMESTIC VANDALISM
At 10:49 a.m., Oct. 22, Cranston Police Officers arrested Jonnay Hill, 23, of 28 Brookfarm Road, North Providence, for Domestic Vandalism/Malicious Injury to Property and Larceny Under $1,500. The arrest was the result of the suspect turning herself into Cranston Police Headquarters. Hill was transported to 3rd District Court, according to Cranston Police.
DUI
At 9:30 p.m., Oct. 21, Cranston Police Officers arrested Jeffrey Laliberte, 25, of 422 Lacolle Lane, Coventry, for DUI (first offense, BAC 0.08 to 0.10) as a result of a traffic stop on Phenix Avenue. Laliberte was arraigned and released by a Justice of the Peace.
