The Providence Restaurant Weeks has grown to over 60 restaurants, including five winners from Cranston and Warwick.
You have through February 8 to take advantage of some great specials.
AVVIO in Garden City offers a three-course dinner for $42 which includes braised beef, swordfish and fra diavolo (Joyce’s favorite). We enjoy the food, atmosphere and service at one of the finest Italian restaurants in the state.
LEGAL SEAFOODS, also in Garden City has a luncheon special which includes the excellent stuffies or chowder and fish sandwich for $25.
IRON WORKS on Jefferson Blvd in Warwick has a two-course dinner for $29.95 which includes the best meatloaf in RI, wrapped in bacon and tasty as can be, plus many of their signature dinners including salmon, my second favorite. You can add dessert for $6.
TAVOLO, across from the airport in Warwick is nothing like an “airport restaurant” but rather a homey neighborhood Italian restaurant. They have a full-course lunch including my favorite braised beef for $19.95.
