Judith May Deal, 80, died June 25, 2025, at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, Florida.
Judy was born November 27, 1944, in Providence, Rhode Island, daughter of the late Joseph and Olive Hope (May) Giorgianni. She grew up in Johnston and graduated from Mount Pleasant High School. Her career began as a medical secretary with Dr. Francis Sergeant (ENT) in Providence. She retired as a claims adjuster in the insurance industry.
A resident of Lake Worth, Florida since 1989, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Deal. She is survived by her four children - Bethany Hacker (Drew), Jeffrey Deal (Kelly), Kimberly Allen (Dale), and Jennifer Weyant (Richard). Seven grandchildren - Tyler Hacker, Alexandra Hacker, Tristen Deal, Ethan Deal, Connor Allen, Jake Allen and Nicole Weyant. Twin brothers, Joseph and Anthony Giorgianni of Rhode Island, and a late sister, Marion Sherman.
She very generously prearranged to donate her body to the University of Florida - College of Medicine. Her Catholic faith was very important to her, and she was a long-time communicant of St. Thomas More and St. Matthew churches in South Florida. Funeral mass will be private.
