Francis J. Domenici Sr., age 78, of Warwick, RI passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at home. He was born on January 11th, 1947, in Pawtucket, RI to the late Ralph and Margaret (Owens) Domenici.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Anne (Kinnes) Domenici; his sons Francis Domenici Jr. of Warwick, RI and Mark Domenici of Worcester, MA, as well as his daughter and son-in-law, Alisa and Hank Snipe of Waterville, Maine. He also leaves his 3 grandchildren, Jaelynn Domenici, Alex and Hailey Snipe, as well as his step-granddaughter Abigail Snipe; his siblings Ralph Domenici, Steven Domenici and Rosemary St. Lawrence, as well as many close friends. He was predeceased in death by his brother Michael Domenici.
Francis proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. He was a steamfitter with Local Union 476 for over 30 years. His passions included hunting, gardening, playing cards, fishing, cooking and spending time with his grandchildren.
Although he was a man of few words, we will miss his quick wit and great sense of humor. The family thanks everyone at Hope Health who made possible his wish to spend his final weeks at home with family.
