Donald R. Williams, 77, of 185 Pequot Avenue, Warwick, passed away on the evening of June 11, 2020, after a prolonged illness. He was the loving husband of Gail Violet (Brown) Williams.

Born in Warwick on November 2, 1942, he was a son of the late Ralph and Philomena (DeLucia) Williams. Donald spent most of his youth in Versailles, Indiana before re-establishing his residence in RI. After serving in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise, he earned his Bachelors of Arts at Johnson and Wales University and returned in his forties to attain his Master’s Degree. He worked as an Accountant for the Hilsinger Corporation in MA. He was an avid fisherman, and a devoted husband and father.

In addition to his beloved wife Gail, he is survived by his daughters Kim and Kristen, his sisters Frances LaPlante, Kathy Poulin (Larry), and Phyllis Swenson (John), and his brothers, Arthur Williams and James Williams.

In accordance with his wishes, Donald will be cremated and his funeral services will be private. On the occasion of the First Anniversary of His Death, loved ones and friends will be invited to attend a Celebration of His Life.

The Williams Family would like to thank the dedicated Hospice providers who ensured that Donald’s final journey ended comfortably at home surrounded by his loving family.
