Dorothy E. (Lanz) Deering, age 92, of Deerfield Beach, FL, formerly of Warwick, died on August 14, 2020. She was the loving wife of the late Norman Deering.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Eliza Lanz.
She is survived by her beloved children: Betty Widden and her husband Roger of Boca Raton, Bob Deering and his wife Carol of Warwick, Jack Deering and his partner Joe Ruggiero of Boca Raton, and Tim Deering and his wife Leslie of Wakefield. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Jen Widden of Little Compton, Scott Widden of Lauderhill, FL, Mindy McCombs of Warwick, Steven Deering of Santa Monica, CA and Robin Deering of Chicago. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Jack and Kate Loper of Little Compton. She was the sister of the late Barbara Costello.
