Elizabeth “Betty” (Rushworth) Edwards, 78, a retired medical records supervisor for the State of Rhode Island, passed away Monday, May 9, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Charles H. “Harry” Edwards Jr. Born in Graniteville, RI, she was the daughter of the late John “Jack” and Ada (Whittaker) Rushworth. Elizabeth was the loving mother of Deborah S. Jendzejec, Gayle M. Jendzejec (Gloria), and Susan L. Campanella (Jerry), step-mother of Christopher G. Edwards (Dawn). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Warwick, the Elks Lodge #14, the Am Legion Aux Post #43, and the Oakland Beach Vol. Fire Co. Aux.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation Friday, May 13, 2022 from 11am-12pm, followed by a service at 12 noon in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
