The Rhode Island Department of Health's (RIDOH) new Environmental Health Risk Assessment Program (EHRAP) will conduct a virtual meeting about the former Truk-Away Landfill site located at the end of Industrial Drive in Warwick on March 31, 2021 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
At this meeting, program staff will share information about their work evaluating potential impacts on human health from environmental hazards found at the site and present an overview of the recently completed airport air quality report. Participants will also have an opportunity to share concerns and ask questions about the project.
All interested residents, members of community groups, and elected officials are welcome to attend to get information on next steps in the public health assessment process and voice questions and concerns. The link to join the March 31 Zoom meeting is:
