Frances (Villa) LaFazia Denis, age 81, a resident of Warwick for most of her life, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at the Bannister Center for Rehabilitation in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Denis. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Sylvester E. and Anna (Parkis) Villa.
Frances was the aunt of Joanne Recchia, Christine Hathaway, John Recchia, Michael Tomaselli, and Peter Tomaselli. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her two sisters, Dorothy Recchia, and Mary Tomaselli; two nephews, Steven Tomaselli, and Paul Tomaselli, and niece, Ann Friedlander.
She loved animals, especially her cats.
Her committal service will be privately held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston at the convenience of the family.
