Francis M. Landy, age 90, of Warwick, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. He was the husband of Joanne (Rubeira) Landy. He was also the husband of the late Phyllis A. (Ciccone) Landy. Born in Providence, a son of the late William C. and Mary G. (van Flatern) Landy, he lived in Warwick for most of his life. He was a graduate of Hope High School in Providence.
Mr. Landy served with the Rhode Island Air National Guard for over 35 years, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant in 1986. He was later employed at the AAA in Cranston from 1997 to 2004. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Kevin A. Landy of Williamsburg, VA; a daughter, Anne M. Landy of Westport, CT; a step-daughter, Cynthia J. Clark of Providence; and two grandchildren, Stephanie Landy and Anthony Landy. He was the brother of the late William C. Landy, Jr. and Robert Landy. His funeral will be held on Friday, November 19, at 10 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited, and may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 8-10 a.m. Burial, with military honors, will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
