If you didn't get your Pomp and Circumstance fix during the recent Coronation, don't fret - local high school marching bands are already rehearsing Elgar's Famous march in preparation for next month's graduation festivities.
Pilgrim High School will hold their ceremony on the morning of June 13 (rain date of June 14) at Aldrich Mansion. Warwick Mayor Frank Picozzi and Warwick Superintendent Lynn Dambruch are both scheduled to address the 260 members of the Class of 2023, which include valedictorian Griffin Taylor and salutatorian Emily Goldman.
Toll Gate's graduation will be held at Aldrich Mansion later in the day (4:30 PM). The graduating class is expected to include 311 students, who will hear addresses from valedictorian Svetlana Stepanova, salutatorian Kristen Carcieri, and class essayist Hailey Randall.
Bishop Hendricken High School will hold its graduation at the Cathedral of SS Peter and Paul in Providence on June 12. US Air Force Colonel Lawrence Gallogy will be the commencement speaker for the schools 143 graduates.
