Girl Scouts kick off cookie season, helping unbox brighter futures
Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England has officially kicked off the 2025 Girl Scout Cookie season, a time when Girl Scouts everywhere hone their entrepreneurial skills as they find new and inventive ways to sell cookies, unboxing brighter futures for themselves. With the much-anticipated cookie season back in full swing, cookie lovers can rejoice as they indulge in the classic cookie line-up.
When Girl Scouts participate in the Girl Scout Cookie Program, the largest entrepreneurial program in the world, they acquire a host of invaluable entrepreneurial skills, including goal setting, money management, decision making, people skills, and business ethics.
“After 108 years, Girl Scout Cookies continue to power our future leaders as the world’s largest girl-run entrepreneurial empire. Our iconic Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties, Caramel deLites are more than just a sweet treat—they act as the vehicle for skill-building and critical fundraising. Every box sold is an investment in our individual Girl Scouts, their troops, and the Council's ability to provide high-quality, life-changing programs, and adventures as they bring positivity to the world,” said Dana Borrelli-Murray, GSSNE CEO and Cranston resident.
All proceeds from cookie sales stay with Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England troops to fuel inspiring experiences throughout the year including camp, amazing trips, service projects, and much more. Local Girl Scouts will be selling cookies through the end of March, please support your local Girl Scouts by ordering from a Girl Scout you know or by visiting gssne.org/findcookies to find a booth near you. Be sure to visit gssne.org/findcookies again on February 21 to have cookies shipped directly to your home.
