Whirls and swirls of dandelion fuzz and touches of soft rabbit fur. Beautiful colorful fabrics ablaze and birds and insects abuzz.
These are some signs that spring has arrived
after the cold and the dark have just passed.
Winter is gone and spring brings new life -
life that is richer than gold.
Young children gather together.
They hug and love and play
their games.
They still understand and care for each other
without the bad names and the blames.
In the meantime we live our lives day by day,
Sometimes enjoy- some struggles some fight -
and try and try as much as we can
to understand and hope someday that we might.
2000 years ago Jesus walked the Earth.
He taught us the Golden rule and how to be kind.
He taught us to be like him as the pathway to true joy and mirth.
Spring approaches; yet I'm in the fall of my life.
As I feel my pains and aches,
I realize that God's message of hope, tells me that someday nothing will hurt or break.
Jesus lived and Jesus died
just like you and I
But the difference is
that now that he did.
A soul need never die.
