Walter S. Gorski, 82, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on June 19, 2025. He was the husband of the late Mary L. (Clegg) Gorski. Born in Providence he was the son of the late Stanley and Esther (Irons) Gorski.
An honorable Vietnam Veteran, who served his country October 1966, to December 1967, assigned to Service Battery 1st Howitzers Battalion, 30th Artillery.
Walter was a lifelong Screen Printer between Pennsylvania & Rhode Island, after a long career he retired in June 2001 from Slater Screen Print Company, Pawtucket, RI.
He loved his children, the outdoors, fishing, taking long daily walks, traveling the globe with his children, making memories to last a lifetime.
Walter is survived by his daughters, Kimberly DeGraw and her husband Russ, Karen & Jacquelyn Gorski, his son Kevin and his wife Heather Devine. He was the father of the late Walter K. Gorski, and the brother of the late Daniel Gorski. Forever he will be beloved Grumpa to his granddaughter Emily Katherine Gorski. Walter also leaves behind the love of his life, Joan Mignacca and her son Andrew. Together Walter and Joan traveled many miles, they spent much time in Bradenton, Fl, and made their own memories.
A Celebration of Life for Walter will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Visitation will be Monday, June 23, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial with Military Honors will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Cemetery, Warwick.
