Michelle Fletcher took a day off from work and Lisa Sweeney played hooky from her kids on Friday to soak in some sun and cool off at Conimicut Point beach. They found a glassy bay, a few other sun bathers and Lincoln, who really plunged in. A one-year old golden retriever, belonging to Stephany Lumenello, Lincoln was in and out of the water retrieving balls. He was on a long line. Seen here after one of his dips, Stephany and her mother Pam Lumenello attempt to tie on Lincoln’s birthday bandana. And not all that far from the beach, the Harbor One Bank sign on Warwick Avenue confirmed that, indeed, it was abnormally hot for April. (Warwick Beacon photos)
