Paul ‘Doc’ Hawcroft, 75, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024. He was a lifelong resident of Warwick, RI. He worked at Texico Oil Company, Clean Harbors, and the Warwick School Department.
Paul was a proud Vietnam Veteran in the 25th Infantry from 1969-1970. He received Combat Medics Barge, two Purple Hearts, two Bronze Stars with “V” Device for valor, two Air Medals, and the Vietnam Service Medal. He was also one of the first people into Cambodia on April 30, 1970.
He was a simple man, who loved his immediate family and enjoyed keeping to the structure of his daily routine which included his evening trips to the gas station to get scratch tickets.
Paul was the son of the late George O. and Hazel L. (Carlson) Hawcroft Sr. and was the brother of the late George O. Hawcroft Jr., and Sandra E. Millett.
Relatives and friends are invited to join his Funeral Service on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 11:00am, Visitation will be held prior from 10:00-11:00am, in the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick. Burial to take place immediately following in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston with full military honors.
