Helen M. (DeSanto) Anthony, age 82, of Namquid Drive, Warwick, and formerly of Belt Street, Warwick, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Anthony.
Born in Providence, the daughter of the late Attillio and Mary A. (Morin) DeSanto, and the step-daughter of the late Deane (Adams) DeSanto, she lived in Warwick for most of her life. She was an avid genealogical researcher, and enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, and sending cards to family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol A. Lanko (John) of Lordstown, OH and Susan A. Blake (Wil) of Sutton, WV; four grandchildren, Joe P. Fell, Ally B. Stocker (Nathan), Andy L. Blake, and Matt S. Blake (Jeannine); her sisters-in-law, Audrey Harris, Delores DiPreta, and Shirley DeSanto; and many nieces and nephews, including George Anthony. She was the sister of the late Arthur J. DeSanto and Edward A. DeSanto.
