Helen M. (Hackett) Wilson, age 89, of Warwick, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Sunny View Nursing Home in Warwick.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late William H. and Helen M. (Shea) Hackett, she lived in Warwick for 30 years. Mrs. Wilson was employed at Kent County Memorial Hospital for 25 years, retiring in 2012 as Administrative Assistant in Diagnostic Imaging. Helen had a great sense of humor and wit. She enjoyed reading and world travel, and loved cats.
She is survived by a son, Stephen D. Wilson of Roseburg, Oregon; a granddaughter, Sharon B. Wilson of Fort Bragg, California; three great-grandchildren, Marilena, Sebastian, and Silvano; and a sister, Marguerite Hackett of Ojai, CA. She was the mother of the late Michael Wilson, and the sister of the late William E. Hackett and Patricia J. Dooley. She was a devoted aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be private. A memorial celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
