Hendricken’s Toussaint earns scholarship from RI Hockey HOF

Posted

The RI Hockey Hall of Fame (RIHHOF) has announced that Bishop Hendricken High School senior Logan Toussaint is one of eight Rhode Island high school senior ice hockey players who will receive a $1,000 scholarship to help defray their post-high school educational costs.  Toussaint plans to attend the University of New Haven in the fall.

The RIHHOF enjoys the support of RI Hockey, Inc. and the RI Reds Heritage Society, along with the many enthusiastic hockey fans across the state who help fund the Hall’s scholarship program.

All senior boys and girls ice hockey players competing in the R.I. Interscholastic League were eligible to apply, and all submitted applications were reviewed by a select panel of RIHHOF board members.

“The Rhode Island Hockey Hall of Fame and its scholarship committee are honored to shine a light on the inspiring and dedicated young men and women who combine athletic excellence and deep commitments to helping others,” stated Hall of Fame Founder and Board Chair, Vincent Cimini.  “Through its scholarship program, the Hall of Fame recognizes young players for their achievements away from the rink and underscores the valuable life lessons the sport provides its participants. We congratulate the Class of 2025, and we thank all those who participated in the scholarship program.”
