Coventry resident Paul Counts, 78, made a hole in one at the East Greenwich Golf Course on Nov. 9 on the ninth hole.
Counts is a longtime EG Golf Course member who served in the US Air Force and retired from UPS. He currently volunteers at his Elks Club in Coventry in his free time.
Counts nailed the hole in one from 125 yards out using a 7 iron and a Titlest ball during a round of play in his seniors league. This is his second hole in one, with his first coming years ago on the sixth hole of the EG Golf Course. His friend Pat Di Padua was with him on both occasions.
