That wasn’t the question Mayor Frank Picozzi asked the third grade Wyman School class of Kerri Beauregard after reading them the book “The I in Kind” Monday morning. Rather, Picozzi was interested in what the kids considered acts of kindness. There were lots of suggestions and when he inquired whether any of them had donated to Hasbro Children’s Hospital when visiting his Christmas light display, hands flew up. He said kindness isn’t always recognized, “but you know it in your heart when you’re kind.” Listening intently is Trinity Charrette. (Warwick Beacon photos)
