Invitation to Bid on Preservation Work at 69 Fair Street Warwick RI project for House of Hope CDC (HOHCDC). HOHCDC is seeking qualifying information and bids from contractors with 5 years or more experience in historic preservation work with masonry, for needed preservation work on the exterior of historic Fair House at 69 Fair Street Warwick RI 02888.

Bids must be received at HOHCDC offices at 3188 Post Road Warwick RI 02886 by 1:00 PM on July 17th, 2025. Opening of bids will follow and qualifying bid results will be available by email if requested.
Bids must be sealed and properly labeled. Emailed, faxed, unsealed bids or late bids will not be accepted. Bids are to be mailed to House of Hope CDC, 3188 Post Road Warwick RI 02886 and labeled: Bid for Preservation Work at 69 Fair Street Warwick RI project or delivered to Taylor Ellis at 3188 Post Road Wawick RI 02886- contact via email to facilitate hand delivery of the labeled and sealed bid packet, if not mailed.
This is a Federally Funded project. The contractor and subcontractors on this project must comply with HUD contract provisions 2 CFR 200, Build America Buy America (“BABA), Davis-Bacon Act, Non-Discrimination, Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action, Section 3 requirements, Anti-Kickback Act, Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act, and Department of Labor Standards and Regulations as set forth in the Contract Bid Documents. Contractor shall be paid for completion of the work in accordance with the contract documents and funding requirements of City of Warwick’s Office of Housing and Community Development and its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.
House of Hope CDC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality in the bidding, and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom in their consideration offered the lowest and best proposal. Bidders must be properly certified under the laws governing their respective trades and be properly insured.
