Robertson School third graders gave a chorus of “it’s the law” when Principal Brian Dillon asked after they had all received free bicycle helmets from the Rhode Island Association for Justice Tuesday morning, “what do you say?” Of course, the students’ response was just what association members including House Speaker K. Joseph Shekarchi had emphasized during what is an annual association program to enhance the safety of children. Pictured here, David Hayes, incoming association president adjusts the helmet of Lianna Hambly and Marc Desisto, Shekarchi , Hayes and past president Kevin Daley fit students with helmets. Will a little prompting, Principal Dillon got the response he had hoped for. It was a resounding “thank you.” (Warwick Beacon photos)
